GIFT CERTIFICATES

11 Sept 1984 USA Vintage '57 Reissue Stratocaster Sunburst NEAR MINT

SOLD

100% original near mint unplayed condition is this beautiful Fullerton USA Fender Vintage '57 Stratocaster.  I have not seen one in this good of shape since 1984!

The dark amber tinted neck is dated in pencil under the nitro finish 9-11-84.  I got this guitar and the '62 Candy Apple Red Reissue from the same person.  The story was they were put under the bed for twenty years and rarely played.  That is very obvious by looking at them!  What a rare opportunity to own this near perfect example.  This is as close to a real 1957 Strat as you will ever come.  The two tone sunburst finish looks deep, 3D, and very golden.  Absolutely beautiful!  Light weight at 7.8 lbs. and very resonant.  I can not find any evidence of being played by looking at the still very shiny fret board. All original down to the three way switch.

I recently had this guitar set up with 11 -52's.  Very low action.  No buzzes.  Every fret rings and allows for full step bends with no fretting out.  You will be amazed at how chimey this guitar is.  Rings like a bell.  Harmonic chimes all over the place!

When you think of the classic Stratocaster sound this is the guitar you think of.  I have NEVER heard better.  You could spend more but I promise you will never get a better Stratocaster than this one.  I look at thousands of Strats to find one like this time capsule piece.  TOTAL joy to play.  This one has it all.  I am not anxious to sell this guitar.  They are skyrocketing in value.  This is the best example I have found in 20+ years of playing these Fullerton reissues.  I consider how long it would take me to replace this guitar when determining the price.
