1968 Fender Super Reverb with factory JBL speakers new condition.
Here is something you do not see every day. As near mint as they come. 100% original Fender Super Reverb with the factory JBL speakers and JBL logo on the front. This amp came from Ft. Smith Arkansas. Original owner claims less than 10 hours of playing time since new. In storage for almost 40 years with original cover kept this in new condition. The grill cloth still sparkles. 45w with the 4 JBL D110F black frame speakers could be the best sounding amp ever. Very heavy amp does not have casters. This is the first one of these I have ever seen with the factory JBLs. The like new condition really puts this over the top. You have to hear it to believe it.
Factory original black JBL D110F speakers sound like heaven. Unbelievable range of tones from this amp. Even the tubes are all original and have never been removed.

Other than the very small mar in the tolex at the upper left corner of the grill this amp is in flawless condition. The Fender logo still has all the black paint. No dents or scratches on the front panel or aluminum trim. Looks new. Impressive for a 40 year old amplifier.
Even the insides look like new. See how green the wire still is? The picture below demonstrates the pride of workmanship Fender had back in the old days. Even though this hand wired point to point circuit board was never meant to be seen you have to admire how neat and clean all the wires were run, wrapped and connected. Built like a tank. We had to replace some burnt out components and install a grounded plug on this amp. Tubes can go bad just sitting around. Capacitors only have a 20 year life expectancy. This amp is 40 so the old caps had dried up and needed replacing. Is she not beautiful? This amp fills the room with amazing tone like a surround sound system at a movie theater.
