This all original and in excellent condition 1978 Gibson SG Deluxe does not look as dark as the above photos.
WOW! Look at this! Super nice condition 1978 USA Gibson SG Deluxe with very rare factory Grover Tuners. This thing has not faded any if at all. It is still bright cherry red! Unreal for a 29 year old rock machine. Just do not see these much anymore. Amazing guitar. 1978 was a scarce year for SGs. Even less SG Deluxes. Even less with factory stop tail piece. Even less with factory Grover tuners. I have never seen one this old that was still cherry red as these have a habit of fading to brown like this 1974 SG Custom. Unbelievable action. This guitar almost plays itself. 6 lb 15.5 oz of tone heaven. Even the case looks like new with the exception of one broken latch.
