1982 Gibson Les Paul Standard in super rare custom color Candy Apple Red SOLD for sale in Dallas Texas TX we buy used guitars

This guitar has a real BIG WOW factor going for it.  Straight from a pawn shop in Nashville.   Super nice 1982 Les Paul Standard special edition.  This was a special run (needless to say) with the small head stock (as opposed to a large head stock),  no volute,  and very rare Candy Apple Red finish.  Patent number stamped humbuckers sound very bell like.  The backs of the pickups are pretty oxidized so there are no signs of any ink stamps.  The guitar also has the tuners with the fold out string winder cranks.  Gold hardware.  A lot of finish checking.  Natural relic!  The binding has aged beautifully to a dark amber.   This great playing guitar shows much play wear but no abuse, repairs, breaks,  or modifications.  Serial number is 827025XX .  That means this guitar was made the 270th day of 1982. The second number under Made In USA is 0316.   Rare ebony fretboard.  Very low action with no fret buzz.  Frets show a little wear but have plenty of metal left.  100% stock. This guitar is so much more than just a very pretty face. It has been played a lot in the past 25 years and there is a good reason for it.  Very special guitar.  Medium neck is not fat or thin.  Feels great.  Very smooth.  I played this guitar for four straight hours and could find no flaws.  Stayed in tune.  Intonation is great.  The ebony fret board allows for pronounced vibrato.  Harmonics really ring at the 4th, 5th, 7th, 12, 19th frets.  How many guitars ring at the 4th fret???!!!!  It is obvious this guitar belonged to a professional musician.  A LOT of mojo here.
