Very special 1982 Gibson USA SG Standard with side input and Tim Shaw humbuckers. Large neck for a SG. No volute. Lots of finish checking. Plays great and is by far the best sounding SG I have ever owned. This is the first time I have seen these pickups. The epoxy back has the Tim Shaw ink stamps in white ink. There is no mistaking the sound of the Tim Shaw pickups that are considered the best Gibson ever made since the original PAFs. This is the first set I have seen with the epoxy back and white ink. 8lb 4.5oz. This guitar has not been played very much. Light pick swirls on the pickguard is all. No fret wear. Plays great. Sounds better. Has the Gibson diamond shaped strap lock buttons that really work. Fantastic guitar. 26 years old and deserves to be played.
