Gibson spares no expenses when they make a Les Paul Custom.  It even has the five ply binding around the headstock as well as around the top AND back of the body.  Pretty fancy stuff!  Also the real abalone pearl inlays look like gems.  Gibson even puts one at the first fret so that you do not have to count to one!  Jumbo frets and bound ebony fret board will spoil you quickly.  You won't want to settle for less!  Lots of wear, but no big chips or missing binding.
