1991 Gibson Les Paul Classic with "model" on head stock. for sale in Dallas TX Texas

I got it from the original owner in Texas. I looked at THOUSANDS of these before I found this beauty. Both flame and birds eye in the beautifully figured maple top along with the very hard to find honey burst makes this look like someone's prized 1959! Original pickups replaced with Gibson PAFs. Rock tone monster. Sustain for days. Great condition. This is the first year of production for the Classic 60 Les Paul. This is the model that has Les Paul Model on the headstock and Classic on the truss rod cover. The next year Gibson started putting the word Classic on the headstock to replace the word model. There are very hard to find. All four pots date 9125. Only 9lb 6oz. On the light side for a Les Paul. This is a very special example that I have owned for over 10 years as my number one LP. Best sounding L.P. I own.
