I believe that the bass is one of the most important elements in modern music. Bass lays down the groove. Groove Bass Players are hard to find.
Some beginners think that slap snap and pop sound good. It does sound funky and jazzy. It just won't get many gigs. Bass should be basic. If you want to learn slap snap and pop your way into a death metal fusion band I am not your man. If you want to learn what it takes to actually play in a real working band I can show you everything you need to know. ALL of my bass students are in at least one band. Many of them are playing in multiple bands. Do not be fooled by busy overplaying rookies.
In addition to playing guitar for over 40 years I also have many years of experience as a studio bass player. I can teach you what it takes to be a successful bass player.
