When the first Jam Alongs came out on cassette we never imagined how popular they would be. Over the years we received many suggestions from the students. One of the most popular requests was to do a jam that had the chord changes called out in the background so the student would know when to change. This aids in hearing the upcoming change. So on this cd each song is on there twice. Once with the chord changes spoken (in one channel only) in the background. Then the same version without the voice prompts is also included.

We used real studio musicians for drums and bass.

Recorded at DK Studios in Dallas in the summer of 2003
