Greetings! I hope this letter finds you all happy, and healthy. We have had an unusually wet spring this year. It has rained everyday so far this month. You might notice how hard it is to stay in tune when the humidity is high. Have you ever checked your tuning and found all the strings were sharp? You wonder how a string can get tighter sitting in the case. When the wood absorbs the moisture in the air it swells, that causes the strings to stretch, and that makes them go sharp. In the winter when humidity levels are low the wood on a guitar can dry out and even crack. If you own expensive guitars you will want a way to control the humidity. Not too hard to do. For about $10 you can get a humidifier to put in the guitar or guitar case. Don't worry about it too much, just be aware. Look what is on the way here! A real vintage 1968 USA Fender Telecaster with factory Bigsby tail piece! WOW!
Don't see these very often. Check out the 1988 One owner Fender Vintage '62 reissue Stratocaster that is on the way here.
The search for the perfect tone never ends. But after years of consideration, trial and error this is my rig more or less. It is not easy to find the original vintage stuff anymore, so this is the new equivalent. Also by popular request a nice EASY slow song. Blue Bayou by Roy Orbison. Every bit of my new gear comes from MusiciansFriend.com for the past six years. Best prices, selection, and return policy there is. AND they bring it to your door! If you click thru to MUSICIANS FRIEND .com from this web site to buy something, I get an advertising credit and it does not cost you a penny extra! Musicians Friend is where I get all my new gear. Always Stay Tuned. A lot is going on around here!
