I hope this letter finds you all happy, healthy, and in tune. Well, fall fell. It is party season! The BEST holidays of the year are coming up. Halloween gigs are just about the best parties to play. Make sure you can play in your costume. My personal favorite is Thanksgiving . Something about eating a months' worth of groceries in one meal, passing out in a chair, and waking up to more. As of today Christmas is 85 days away. Then a week later New Years Eve. Eat, drink, and be merry responsibly.

Ever since 1969 when we put a man on the moon I have wondered why they can not make a guitar that would tune itself. FINALLY! A guitar that tunes itself!

Leave it to Gibson to be the first to come
up with this. If it works; I will be impressed. They say
it is accurate to 2 cents. Our little Korg tuners are good to 1 cent.
The technology is bound to get better. Still pretty cool.

When you think about the history each and every guitar has it is very interesting. The guitar goes thru someone's life as a good friend standing with them thru thick and thin. Comforting, and teaching as they dispense their pure happiness. Then the guitar is sold and lives a new life with a new owner. The guitar will outlast us so we are just temporary caretakers of these soulful time machines. I love guitars.
Just in from New York a one owner excellent condition 1975 Gibson SG tobacco burst. I got the complete history since day one of this guitar's life.
Just in from Florida a natural relic 1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty.
