22 days until Christmas!   THAT is Clause for concern and could only mean one thing:

It is great to pass on the gift of music to the next generation of guitar stars!

Don't forget that this time of year when we start firing up our furnaces and drying out our house how hard it is on guitars.  Especially the high end acoustics.  If you have one you may want to put a humidifier near by and monitor the levels in the room with your guitar.   Never ever leave your guitar in the car.  Not only is hot or cold bad for the guitar;  thieves work year around and most guitars are taken from vehicles.  More at Christmas time than any other time of the year.  More clause for concern.

Check out the new cool chord and lyric site:  CHORDIE.COM   It is the best yet!  You can even transpose your music into all 12 keys!  How cool is that?  VERY!!!

Rock and Roll Monster Machine #1 a 1985 Gibson Les Paul Custom with ebony fret board real relic.   A ton of tone fun.  Literally.  Over 10 pounds!   Black beauty, fretless wonder,  over twenty years of play wear shows this one was worth playing a lot.  Finish checking,  and gold worn off of tuning keys makes this look better than a Custom Shop Historic Murphy aged that would cost $5K+.   Here on Tuesday from Kentucky.  Somebody said a guy named Saul Hudson plays one of these.

Saul Hudson aka Slash with Guns and Roses

Just in from Austin is one cool player Stratocaster.   Real relic old nitro finish has checked all over and looks cooler than Santa's sleigh bells!  Brand new jumbo frets and bone nut!  You know how we LOVE those.  Fender Custom Shop pickups installed (original pickups included)!  Tone monster with that cool looking vibe we like to see.

1988 USA Fender Vintage '62 reissue Stratocaster in Olympic White nitro

1989 USA Fender  Vintage '62 Reissue in Olympic White Nitro REAL RELIC!

One owner 12 - 23 - 86 USA Fender Vintage '57 reissue in rare Surf Green .  As it ends up I have another reissue Stratocaster made the same day as this one and it appears the neck date is written in the same handwriting!  This one looks almost like new.  Very nice shape.  Super investment and a super guitar.

9-24-86 USA Vintage '57 reissue Stratocaster in Black nitro Check out the 1986 USA Fender Vintage '57 Reissue in custom color Black in super good condition!  Covered in finish checking!  RARE RARE RARE!!!  Just in.

1982 Fender USA Vintage '57 reissue Precision Bass FULLERTON is just in and is my current number one bass.  Why all bass guitars can't play this well is beyond me.  This one is BY FAR the best playing bass I have EVERY played.  Very wide thin neck has the lowest action conceivable without any fret buzz, wood rattle,  or dead spots.  Not for sale at this time.

The search for the perfect tone never ends.  But after years of consideration, trial and error this is my rig more or less.  It is not easy to find the original vintage stuff anymore, so this is the new equivalent.

Every bit of my new gear comes from MusiciansFriend.com  for the past seven years.  Best prices,  selection,  and return policy there is. AND they bring it to your door!   If you click thru to MUSICIANS FRIEND .com from this web site to buy something,  I get an advertising credit and it does not cost you a penny extra!  Musicians Friend is where I get all my new gear.  Click on the bar below to go there.  If the bar does not appear on your browser go here and click on the MusiciansFriend bar at bottom of that page.
